Unreal Engine
With the WOCube plugin, Unreal Engine is run from PLAY just like the graphics. Scene actors become templates: PLAY changes their text, loads DLS photos onto them and starts their animation with the TAKE. From the Creator Studio 3D you send LED walls, monitors and cameras to Unreal, with the measurements of the studio. It is part of the CREATOR 3D extension.
The installer puts the plugin into the engine or into an Unreal Engine 5.8 project, enables it, and on uninstall leaves the project as it was.
Every actor tagged «wocube» is a template: its variables, its text and the textures of its materials become fields.
Scene animation and sequences start with TAKE and leave with OUT; a take can also change level or send a command to Unreal.
Where the plugin is not installed, PLAY works with Unreal's Remote Control presets.
The UNREAL take sits in the grid next to the graphics, takes its values from the same data and answers the same buttons, triggers and control surfaces.
An image field puts a DLS photo on the surface of an object, and a DLS output updates an Unreal object at every photo change.
The WOCube engine channels reach Unreal over NDI, as live textures.
LED walls, monitors and cameras drawn in the Creator Studio 3D become Unreal actors, with position, orientation and size in metres.
A folded or curved LED wall arrives as one actor per segment, ready for the material with the photo or the video texture.
Each camera becomes a CineCamera with the focal length and sensor of its lens, around the same stage centre used by tracking.
