Creator
Creator is the drawing table. You build the template once — with its animation, its dynamic fields and its rules — and from that moment it lives: you put it on air from PLAY, you fill it with newsroom data, you update it while it is already on screen.
Text, images, video, rectangles, ellipses and free shapes, with groups, alignment, guides, rulers and safe areas.
Shape masks, animated too, with inversion, and shapes used as clipping paths.
An image box can hold another template, with breadcrumbs to climb back out.
Contiguous slices of the same scene, exported separately with their own suffix.
Text resizes to fit its box, however long the incoming data turns out to be.
With a movable light source and fine tuning from the keyboard.
Continuous scrolling, at the same speed whatever the canvas zoom.
Any text turns into a countdown driven from the control room.
Synchronised lyrics with line-by-line highlighting.
One timeline for every object, with multiple keyframe selection and easing curves.
The template reacts to the data it receives instead of merely displaying it.
With in and out trimming, position on the timeline and correct sync.
Ten tools inside the program: assisted subject selection, background removal, clone, fill, resize.
Picks a colour from anywhere in the scene.
You step out, you work, you step back in: the image returns updated, in place.
The palette stays the one you actually work with.
PNG, JPG, TGA and sequences ready for DLS.
ProRes with an alpha channel, to take the graphics into an edit.
Export with layers and groups, text still editable.
The template becomes an AE project, with the PLAY data inside.
They are part of the same system
