A host of new features and functions.

New
  • creator Template generator: sign, poll, bar chart, and leaderboard, featuring live preview, styles, palettes, and fonts. The template regenerates at any time without affecting manually added layers.
  • creator Matrix-style standings: teams automatically reorder and shift to their new positions as points change. Layout options include 1, 2, or 3 columns; customizable statistics; tie-breaker indicators; top and bottom zone highlighting; and a choice between static or animated versions.
  • creator Property formulas, covering position, dimensions, opacity, rotation, colors, and text—can be driven by expressions based on data fields, other layer properties, and time. Value transitions allow elements to animate smoothly when data changes.
  • creator Clock: an oscillator with nine waveforms for looping animations—including on static images and during pauses—that ensures deterministic output upon export.
  • creator Data Layer: If/Then/Else and Switch/Case rules evaluated at startup and upon every data update, to provide logic to the STILLs.
  • creator Timeline slideshow: photos of the collection on a dedicated layer; order and durations set on the timeline; transitions, Ken Burns effect, looping, and a "ghost" layer with keyframes that apply to all the photos.
  • creator Shared export profiles (XDCAM HD422, ProRes 4444 with alpha, ProRes HQ, MP4, 540p proxy) and background export queue on the server, with cancellation capability.
  • creator Interlaced export with true fields, exact frame rates (23.976, 29.97, 59.94), and format verification prior to export.
  • creator Rectangular mask with gradient, animatable.
  • play Matrix fields linked to an entire table: the whole table is included, with columns matched by name.
  • play "Set table cell" in triggers: set, increment, decrement, or toggle.
Improved
  • creator Layer timeline: layers collapsed by default, multiple selection, split at playhead, SHY, icons aligned in fixed columns.
  • creator Media: references in templates track moves and renames; direct drag-and-drop into the collection; deletion of a photo from a collection without breaking links; lightweight thumbnails; and unlimited nested folders.
  • creator Non-alpha video colors converted to premultiplied alpha, Rec. 709 with video gamma, audio duration matching the image duration.
  • creator Marquee selection on the canvas: selects the contained layers, including the children of a null object.
Fixed
  • creator Dual audio during playback: playback speed always 1x; realignment only beyond 0.3 s.
  • creator Real-time timeline clock, with no loss of frame fractions.
  • creator Export that stopped when changing tabs or selections.
  • creator Slideshow preview paused without keyframes; slideshow visible before it starts.
Heads up
  • creator The old automatic slideshow in the Collector has been retired: "Generate" converts it into a timeline-based slideshow while preserving duration and transitions.
  • creator To use formulas, clocks, data layers, and rankings in PLAY, the templates must be exported again.

Here are the most significant changes in the version

New
  • creator Collector slideshow: an image box can cycle through all the photos of its linked folder, with transitions (fades, pushes, zooms, mosaic, 3D cube and flip), adjustable per-photo and transition timing and a tunable Ken Burns micro-zoom. Photos stay in sync with the folder and each slide keeps its own saved framing — including blurred side fill for portrait shots.
  • creator Permanent collector numbering: each photo gets a fixed number when it enters the collector (a 001 badge on thumbnails) that is never recomputed — exported file names stay stable as the folder grows. Two clicks on the badge swap the numbers of two photos.
  • creator One-step MXF export: the MXF button (Inspector, next to PSD export) renders the whole template straight to an XDCAM video — frame rendering plus server-side encoding, no manual steps.
  • creator Workstation chat: the same panel as PLAY, on a channel dedicated to the graphics editor, to coordinate template work.
  • creator Show logo: each project can carry its own logo, uploaded at creation or from Edit, reused wherever a document goes out in the show's name.
  • creator Paragraph PDFs exported by editorial/production now carry the show logo in the header.
Improved
  • creator Much faster MXF export: lighter frames, parallel pipelines, still-frame reuse and a dedicated fast path for slideshow templates. Export keeps running even when you switch browser tabs.
  • Preview of videos the browser can't play (ProRes .mov, XDCAM .mxf) opens directly in ffplay on the server.
Fixed
  • creator Slideshow in preview, on air and in the exported video now matches the canvas exactly: per-photo framing respected, clean start on the first photo, seamless cycle close (looped video is continuous).
